Snake in OAC
Everyone, please take special care while going outside now days. I was saved today from stepping over a Naag (about 4 feet long, healthy) by about 5cm to 10 cm gap in OAC while coming out of the larger shade. Just about 2-3 seconds later, it was having its fangs open at a bird nearby in full anger.

The male conterpart secretary of the group, Sabhya Sachidas also informed that the first even was supposed to be 'Star-gazing' but unfortunately due to weather conditions, it was delayed.
At the end of movie, after almost all the audience left, the covering flap of one of the lights in BCJ Hall fell down without a notice. Fortunately, no one was beneath the metallic flap and no harm was made to anybody.

Badminton - Comp beating EnTC-B
The hero of the day was Ashutosh Maurya from computers beating EnTC-B with great margin. On one hand where Geet (Comp) lost girl's singles match to Shreya (EnTC B), her mix doubles pair with Maurya was won. Amoolya (Comp) showed a great game and won her girls singles match.
EnTC won the boys doubles credited to Saransh but lost another singles match held between Gurpratap (Comp) and Joshi (EnT-B) after getting De-Maurya-lised by Maurya in another men's singles. An excellent performance by Gaurav Kaushik (comp) led to the victory.

Comp v/s EnTC-B (Cricket)
Comp Won! Today, Comp made a great score of 240 in 20 overs. The greatest contribution from Comp was from Mr. Rawat (BE Comp) fo 170 runs.
In reply, EnTC also tried hard enough but could not go more than 171 and lost the match by 69 runs. Obviously, it was a 69 defeat of Comp over EnTC.

First match for Akriti 2011, Mech won
![]() |
The type of ball used in AIT Cricket matches :) hahaha |
Mech made a splendid score of 168 which was being unsuccessfully chased by Comp but the entire Comp-Squad collapsed at 143 only.
Joke Point: Indeed Comp initiated with a number 143 - saying "I love you". A good start even with a defeat.

My Cube in AITians
The very popular 'virtual money' making website (and eventually convert it into real money) is getting popular in AITians. You simply need to register in the website and share your own creation (drawings, paintings, poems etc) for selling and buy others similar intellectual property. It will be in the forms of cubes. To check the site, click here.
As the site is in beta version, you need an activation code to register (and earn money). For your help, we are providing an activation code.
- MyCube is a "social exchange", a place where you can exchange information, ideas and content with others yet retain full ownership of what you share, control who you share it with, and determine your own terms of exchange.
- MyCube uses its own virtual currency: "Cubes". These can be used to purchase and sell content. Cubes are tied to the Singapore dollar (S$), with a value of 100 cubes to S$1.
As the site is in beta version, you need an activation code to register (and earn money). For your help, we are providing an activation code.
mckaranr
This will enable for you also to register the same and propagate your own creations online and that too worth money. In addition to this, if selected, you may even get a training given by the company out of the nation. Enjoy the cubes.

And magazine is out
The AIT annual magazine, Srijna is finally out under the secretaries Parina Magu (TE Comp) and Ishan Dutt (TE Comp). Compliments are from all people that it is much better than the last year's (last year mili kis ko thi?) and the second time in AIT's history, an all color magazine, and that too for everyone.
Compared to last year (the only color magazine we can compare with), our critics say that this magazine has better color management. The ambigram of the word Srijna has been embossed on the cover page. And, this time, it is all BE Edition (earlier, only BEs used to have BE edition of magazine). Magazine has everything this time. Original hand made caricatures (except the one on page 110), image of boys coming out of GH (page 67), good quality paper (at least you would like to devote some time to the content), and yes, the beautiful photos (c'mon boys).
But as no one is perfect, magazine is full of errors. Few of the examples of these errors are as below.
1) Spellings: Contents page -> reports section -> point 57 -> IIM Indire (Indore?)
2) Logical: Page 36 (Hindi isn't our national language) -> Para 1 -> last line -> National Anthem does not constitutes the word 'Hind' or 'Hindi' anywhere. Neither it is written in Hindi. (Sorry Hazari)
3) Author's name: Page 23 -> चाँद में दाग -> The author Aakash is an hypothetical one (Hindi editors say, the poet himself wanted to be anonymous)
4) Blunders: List of branch toppers (Glitterati) -> EnTC Toppers -> FE Topper -> The Jitender who topped is not shown. The shown one is some other Jitender.
And many more similar stories.. But yeah, indeed this magazine is better than last year's.
