Model Making competition - September 25, 2010

Today,  a model making competition was held in the college campus (Raman Theatre) under the supervision of Tech-Sec, Miss Ritambhara with association of Tech-Akriti Sec, Mr. Surender Malik. The initial entries were about 80 teams for the first round which were shortlisted to just 10 teams in the second round. The event started at 11 AM and second round started at 2:30 PM.

All the teams showed wonderful innovation and a huge participation of FEs. Although an equal enthusiasm was shown by the teams of SEs, TEs and BEs.

    the event was overall well ..although some participants who had seen the marking scheme said that some of the judges didnt give the marks according to the slots provided and marked 1st ,2nd in their individual slot.this created a problem in judging of the first round ! Many participants were unhappy at these sorts of faults in judging.

    i wonder why the tech-secretaries changed the rules at the end of the final round.the changed rules favored some of the participants while the others were disappointed.

    Ya, they changed at the very moment when the model making was over and participants were giving presentations. This hidered those who made their models strictly keeping in the problem statement in mind.
