The college organised a blood donation camp with association with AFMC, Pune. The event saw a huge enthusiasm in the AITians with large participation for the noble cause. The NSS secretary, Hariswaroop and Swati made an arrangement of different timing slots for different batches starting form 9 AM for FEs to 2 PM for BEs. The event went peacefully under the supervision of Miss Chandola. And important thing to notice was that the donors before 1PM gave 450ml blood each and after 1PM, they gave 350ml each.The doctors kept a constant eye on the health of the donors. Although few cases were seen when some donors underwent faint / uncouncious, but they were given instant attention. Overall, the event was a fruitful step.
