On occasion of Ayodhya Verdict, almost all the colleges of the city are on a holiday today. Keeping in mind that a majority of students of AIT reside in the college campust itself, and need not to come from very far (even the day-schies are residents of nearby areas), the college was running on its normal schedule smoothly yesterday.
As the Indian govt. itself was quiet attentive for the fear of any communal riots on the result over demolishion of Babri Masjid, the college administration also passed the orders for the safety of the army personels' wards. No student was allowed yesterday to go out of the college campus after 4:30 PM. Some students felt a little problem with these orders but ultimately, it was for the well of common. Fortunately, the country welcomed the verdict with peace and the ban was released on 1st of October.
